2010 Election Cycle

May 7, 2010 (Friday) - Tim Kleinschmidt, State Representative has his staff in a "Traveling Office" at the Burleson County Courthouse in Caldwell.  This is to assist Burleson County residents in communicating with him.  Please use it!

May 13, 2010 (Thursday) - District 10 Congressman Michael McCaul's staff will be at the Burleson County Courthouse, Commissioner's Room from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. to ask questions, voice concerns, ask questions, or discuss federal issues with my staff.

June 7, 2010 (Monday) - BC-GOP County Executive Committee meets at Caldwell Senior Center, 6:30 p.m.

June 11 - 12 (Friday - Saturday) - Texas State Republican Convention at the Dallas Convention Center

April 22, 2010 - BC-GOP County Executive Committee met to canvas the results of the Republican Primary Election and other business at Caldwell Senior Center.

April 17, 2010  - GOP SD-5 Grassroots Meeting at the Burleson County Fairground's Expo Building.

April 13, 2010 - Republican Primary Runoff Election

April 5 through 9, 2010 - Early voting in Republican Primary Runoff Election

March 20, 2010 - Burleson County Republican Convention.

March 11, 2010 - BC-GOP County Executive Committee meets to canvas the local results from the Republican Primary Election.  Drawing for ballot locations for any Primary Run-offs will be held.

March 2, 2010 - Primary Elections,  7a.m. to 7p.m.

February 26, 2010 - Last day to vote early in person for the March 2nd Primary Election.

February 23, 2010 - Applications for ballots-by-mail can be received at the Courthouse for the Primary Election.

February 22, 2010 - Republican Party Executive Committee Meeting, but all are invited as we discuss management of this year's Precinct Conventions and other agenda items.

February 1, 2010 - Last day a  person may register to vote in the March 2nd primary election.

January 18, 2010 - Stampede Newsletter - 2010 Primary  Election Special is mailed to party members.

January 16, 2010 - 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Senate District 5 Republican Leadership Meeting, Cooks Point Community Center.

January 4, 2010 - 6:00 p.m. - Filling deadline for a place on the primary election ballot.

January 1, 2010 - First day for voter to submit an application for an early ballot by mail.

December 30, 2009 - Last day a candidate can withdraw from the primary ballot.

December 3, 2009 - First day to file an application for a place on the primary ballot for an office other than Precinct Chair.   Also the first day t file a declaration of write-in candidacy for county or precinct chair.
