Spring Fling Crowd Visits
Burleson County Republicans turned out for the annual Spring Fling at the Cooks Community Center.

Martha West offers a toast to Texas as we remember the Republic of Texas founding on March 2, 1832.  Joining in are Republican County Chairman Don Cook, Railroad Commissioner Michael Williams, Vice-Chairman Bill Giesenschlag, and his wife Debbie Giesenschlag.

The mystique of Texas continues as each generation accepts and continues the conservative, sometimes unique, but always practical attitudes of its founders and leaders.  From that comes the often said "Only in Texas ..."/
