Results of the 2010
Burleson County Republican Primary!
Texans chose to vote Republican
better than 2-to-1 over Democrat in the 2010 Primary Election. In Burleson
County, the Republican Party was preferred 3.5 to 1! We are honored
to
find that so many of our neighbors realize that the values they
have always held are now best exemplified by the Republican Party.
Local Republican officials must
be doing their jobs pretty well.
We don't
have any of that fancy polling data, but when ALL of the local
Republican incumbents are
unopposed in both the Primary and General Election, one might get the
idea that folks are pretty happy with the way things are going.
Now
we just need to achieve as good success in Austin and Washington, DC!
Races requiring a Runoff Election are: US
Congressman - District 17, Board of Education Member, and Supreme Court - Place 3.
All
offices up for election with
Republican candidates are
shown in the list below. Candidates are listed with Runoff
Candidates at the beginning of each race, and then in the same order
that they appeared on Burleson County Republican Primary
ballots. The table below each candidate's data shows the vote
count in Burleson County and in the full District or State (if
applicable) and the percentage of total votes for that candidate.

Propositions
Texas
Republicans are being asked to vote "Yes"
or "No" on five propositions this year. The results will
assist the
Republican Party, candidates, and elected officials in crafting future
laws and policies:
Proposition
#1: Photo ID: The
Texas
legislature should make it a priority to protect the integrity of our
election process by enacting legislation that requires voters to
provide valid photo identification in order to cast a ballot in any and
all elections conducted in the State of Texas.
